SSA is delighted that its vision and mission to promote Singapore as a cruising destination hub has attracted many serious-minded individuals who worked hard in contributing ideas and making things happen, albeit gradually.
A short dialogue session with the Indonesian officials was well-received with regard to developing network strategy for the Asia-Pacific Region. Paramount to the discussion is the recognition that the yacht industry is a growing niche market, and by fostering stronger ties in both countries is deemed to be far-sighted and beneficial to both economies.
On a macro scale, to further expound the growth of SSA, a collaborative effort would then need to present to the Mediterranean and Caribbean market, with a move closer to working towards the vision in materializing Singapore as Asia’s 3rd cruising destination.
SSA strongly encourages like-minded individuals and/or organizations to participate in this meaningful initiative.Â
