A new Pershing 80 baptized “Mantra” delivered in Singapore in October 2010.
Launched by the Ferretti Group Pershing, the ‘Pershing 80’ boosts a sleek design with exceptional performance. Constructed using their proprietary “Scrimp System”, it features a special fibre glass vacuum molding, with customizable interior for spacious areas. It is designed by Fulvio de Simone, known for his minimalistic design, and its stylish interior is furbished from Poltrona Frau, known for their high quality materials. This 80-footer was awarded for Best of the Best Awards according to the 2010 Huron Report in China, ranking first for Best luxury yacht performance.
Now based at ONE̊15 Marina club, Singapore, the new Pershing 80, baptized ‘Mantra’ by MP, her owner, was designed for luxury cruising in the Andaman Sea, Thailand, Indonesia and beyond. That makes it the perfect yacht for the proud owner, a Singapore Permanent-Resident who was already regularly using the two other yachts he bought in the last 4 years to cruise in the region. However, what makes it so special for the owner who still engages in motorsport racing, is precisely the fact the yacht is build for speed, not something he was getting enough out from his Ferretti 68. Running on two MTU engines, it allows running at maximum speed of 51 knots, which is lightning quick for a craft of that size, and a cruising speed at 41 knots.
