The voyage from Dubai’s Jumeirah Beach Palm to Singapore’s ONE°15 Marina Club for Silver Zwei was nothing short of sensational. Completing 3983 nautical miles in 8 days, 6 hours with an average speed of 20.1 knots was a phenomenal feat, considering the kind of weather conditions she had to undergo.
The journey started off well with small breezes and calm seas but midway through, the vessel had to battle strong winds, squalls and 5 meter high seas with zero visibility. In spite of one such particularly adverse period, Silver Zwei still managed to complete 425 nautical miles within 24 hours, a testimony of the fine capabilities of the motor yacht. Designed by Espen Oeino from Hanseatic Marine in Fremantle, the 73.3m megayacht boasts a jacuzzi on deck, a dancefloor and a helipad.
ONE°15 Marina Club was all ready on standby, eagerly waiting for the arrival of the magnificent vessel on 17th July. Needless to say, SSA was extremely excited and even more delighted to witness and capture the arrival of Silver Zwei.
