ONE°15 Marina Club, the prestigious Singapore-based superyacht marina club, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Guillaume Chaillot as Senior Marina Manager.
Born in Switzerland, Guillaume came to ONE°15 Marina Club (www.one15marina.com) via Australia, where he opened and managed "33 Degrees South Marina Services" in Sydney. Prior to that, he developed and ran a boat brokerage business and founded and managed a sailing school, also in Sydney. Guillaume is also certified to skipper a vessel of up to 200 tons and has handled boat deliveries and managed yachts in Europe, Australia and New Zealand. He is also a competitive sailor and a former member of the Swiss National Sailing Team. He has sailed in three Sydney to Hobart Races and match raced against Team Alinghy, current holders of the America’s Cup.Â
Guillaume began his orientation at ONE°15 Marina Club in mid-December, just in time for the Volvo Ocean Race! Once the fleet departs on the Singapore to Qing Dao leg of the Race, his job will begin in earnest as he reviews marina systems and procedures, re-trains the staff and develops on-the-water events for boaters and non-boaters alike.Â
