A new superyacht newsletter and website was launched today with the specific objective of promoting the Asia-Pacific region to the rest of the international superyacht community.
AP Superyacht News will issue a monthly newsletter supported by an online directory and resource centre. The newsletter is asking for submissions of relevant news items for inclusion within the first newsletter in January 2010.
In addition, industry members will be able to subscribe to the newsletter free and also have a free entry in the online directory.
Simon Turner, who recently chaired the 1st Asia Superyacht Conference organised by the SSA, commented, “After a very successful conference in October, everyone accepted that we need to promote Asia-Pacific as a single region. This will help to grow the number of visiting yachts and the number of yachts owned within the region. In particular the western owners, captains and brokers need a good source of information and that is what this newsletter aims to do.”
