Port Entry Requirements
MPA (Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore) regulates that effective 1 Jan 2012, "to further enhance the safety of navigation within Singapore port waters, all power driven vessels, including visiting foreign yachts, will be required to be fitted with an operational IMO or MPA approved transponder as a port entry".
MPA informs that owners and operators of yachts, including visiting foreign yachts are required to be regulated as mentioned above.
