At the recent 2010 Boat Asia show at Marina at Keppel Bay, SSA shared a booth with 2 other Associations ie. Singapore Power Boat Association (SPBA) and the freshly formed Singapore Boating Industry Association (SBIA). It was the first time the 3 Associations came together to lend their support to the event, held yearly in mid-April. Guest of Honour, Minister Lim Hwee Hua, 2nd Minister for Finance & Transport came by the Association booth when she made her rounds visiting the exhibition during the Opening Ceremony. Although the weather was awfully erratic, alternating between heavy downpours and simmering hot humidity, the event was compensated by a good 4 days of networking with the heavyweight players of the boating industry and nautical community.
