12 months of 2009 looks set to speed by much faster than most had thought, but before the year draws to a close in 3 weeks time, SSA decided to hold its second Networking event at Clarke Quay's Highlander Bar Restaurant.
This follows the successes of the exclusive 1st SSA Networking & Drinks Night on 17th June at gourmet British pub “The Queen & Mangosteen” and of the 1st Asia Superyacht Conference on 13th-15th October.
9th December 2009 spelt an evening of light-hearted fun & hearty laughter amidst groovy music in the background, complete with great service from the team at Highlander who dished out a menu of delicious finger food and desserts.
At 8pm, SSA Executive Director Jean-Jacques Lavigne warmly welcomed everyone present at the event. Peter Schmultzer from General Marine Design (GMD) which recently joined the SSA’s membership gave a short presentation about the company’s specialized products and concepts before Simon Turner took over to announce preliminary plans for the coming year’s Asia Superyacht Conference to be held in October 2010.
