The international superyacht market commonly talks of two destinations where more or less the majority of the superyachts are concentrated and cruise.

- Carribean: Ideal during Europe's winter season, providing high quality resorts and entertainment (ex Atlantis in the Bahamas) as well as good berthing capabilities.
- "Third Destination": Australia and Southeast Asia (Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Pulau...) are quickly creating a new zone called the “Third Destination”.
