The Andaman Islands: Have you heard of it recently?
Apparently it is one of the most recently discovered cruising destination...Enthusiasts looking for new cruising spots are beginning to take notice in South East Asia as charter season in Europe draws to a close. This is augmented by the increasing numbers of superyachts now based in Asia Pacific, either permanently or during the most popular seasons.
We can see why; for the Mediterranean and North America - April to October, October to March: South America; November to May: Central America; so for the months of December to April, where should sea lovers venture to? The options avail would be meandering through the Central America, and not forgetting Asia, that's where I came from.
The rapid increase in popularity of cruising destinations in Asia include Thailand, and Indonesia. But still, weather is the determining factor in seeing the shifts of patterns of the cruising patterns of sea lovers. By way of word of mouth, through skippers, owners, crew, clients, charter agents, that's where we see new destinations popping up.
