Australian Superyacht Crew visa (subclass 488) released on 27th Oct '08

The Australian Government introduced a new visa for the crew of
superyachts on 27 October 2008. This temporary visa allows crew
members to work onboard a Superyacht and remain in Australia for
up to 12 months. This visa is available to Superyacht crew members 
and is not intended for the dependants of Superyacht crew members.
Dependants should consider applying for an ETA (visitor) (subclass
976) or a Tourist (subclass 676) visa.
